Did you know that there are more marriages in the Great Smoky Mountains every year than Las Vegas? It's true. More people get married here each year than anywhere else in the country. (Information subject to change. Please call ahead for specific requests.)

Marriage Licenses can be obtained in 3 places in Sevier County.

1) Sevier County Court Clerk, located in the Sevier County Courthouse in Sevierville. Hours are 8 am - 4:30 pm M - Th, Fri. 8 am - 6 pm

2) The Gatlinburg Shilling Center at 405 Reagan Drive. Hours are 8:30 am - 4 pm, Mondays and Fridays, Wednesday hours are 8:30 am - noon. Saturdays 9 am -3 pm

3) The Pigeon Forge City Hall, Pine Mountain Road. Hours are 9 am - 5 pm Saturday Only.

You do not have to be a resident of the country to get married here. Bring your birth certificate or drivers license, and social security number. Call a licensing office for other specific requirements. The cost of the license is currently $45.00. ($105.00 for state residents.)
